Job Summary
The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by serving as a technical expert on Selector’s operational analytics solutions. The position entails hands-on integration of products to meet customer-specific requirements, deploying solutions, and collaborating with sales teams for pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Be a technical expert on Selector’s operational analytics solutions for networks, applications, and security workflows.
- Take a hands-on role in the integration of products to meet customer requirements.
- Deploy Selector's solutions at customer sites, understanding their data, workflow, and analytics needs.
- Ensure customers are enabled to use, understand, and self-serve extensions of Selector’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with the sales team and partners for pre-sales activities.
- Own the design, development, and execution plans for Proof of Concepts (POC) and lead them to successful deployment.
- Enhance product features and quality through proposals and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Proficient in coding with Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experienced with various database technologies.
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant hands-on coding experience.
- Familiar with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CloudFormation Templates, and YAML.
- Skilled in designing SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis using Jupyter Notebook.
- Strong verbal and written communication and comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics.
Preferred Skills
- Additional experience or knowledge in emerging data technologies and frameworks is a plus.
Experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in software and data engineering roles.
