Primary Responsibilities

• ●  Envision and drive the data science charter in Zepto and lead a team of world class data scientists.

• ●  Collaborate with functional leaders across Zepto to understand opportunities and process gaps and improve via data science interventions

• ●  Build and iterate on AI/ ML solutions across the board to improve business metrics

• ●  Design and run data backed experiments to improve the models to drive higher business impact.

• ●  Wear the Zepto badge with pride. We are looking for owners – not employees.

  What Are We Looking For?

• ●  PHD in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics from a reputed institute

• ●  10+ years of experience in the data science domain and 5+ years of managing

  a team.

• ●  2+ years of experience in consumer internet companies

• ●  Experience in leading a research team of data scientists of at least 10

  members.

• ●  Ability to mentor junior and senior team members on their journey to become

  top class data scientists.

• ●  Ability to structure real life problems into statistical or ML problems as per

  need.

• ●  Strong understanding of statistical techniques and methods such as

  distributions(poisson, binomial), data intricacies(independent, skewness,

  kurtosis etc).

• ●  Ability to experiment with different approaches and proven track record of

  solving ambiguous and highly complex data problems

• ●  Experience in building data analytics, pipelines and deploying ML models in

  public cloud

• ●  Exceptional communication skills (Written/Verbal)
