GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer who will play a crucial role in understanding our existing cloud ecosystem, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best-in-class DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and a strong capability to drive architectural decisions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current GCP setup and DevOps workflows.
• Propose and implement improvements in infrastructure, security, and automation.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, to manage cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Drive architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., GKE, IAM, VPC, Cloud Build).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring solutions for cloud environments.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills
