Job Summary

The PeopleSoft Administrator is responsible for the administration and management of PeopleSoft environments, specifically those hosted on AWS cloud. This role is essential in ensuring the stability, performance, and compliance of the PeopleSoft systems, contributing significantly to the organization's operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PeopleSoft Tax Updates, Critical Patch Updates, and Bug Fixes.
  • Execute PeopleSoft PSU Patching and OS Patching.
  • Carry out PeopleSoft environment refreshes and regular maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and re-organize/restructure environments for optimal performance.
  • Review Process Monitor and Integration Broker to guarantee availability and performance.
  • Ensure effective management of Oracle Tuxedo and WebLogic.
  • Document daily operating procedures, including object compilation and optimizer statistics.
  • Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager to identify and resolve ERP system inefficiencies and performance issues.
  • Manage Backup and Recovery processes.
  • Conduct weekly reviews and address security vulnerability remediations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow to handle incidents, service requests, change requests, problems, and vulnerabilities according to SLAs. Engage with Oracle support when necessary.
  • Implement database performance tuning strategies.
  • Provide IT General Control (ITGC) audit evidence on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management) or FSCM (Financial Supply Chain Management) architecture.
  • Experience with Integration Broker and Process Scheduler in a PeopleSoft environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Tuxedo, WebLogic, and Oracle Enterprise Manager in a PeopleSoft context.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and Oracle databases, including OS-level patching.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for ITSM (IT Service Management) processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Experience in backup/recovery strategies and security vulnerability remediation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
