The Product Leader – Category will be responsible for owning and scaling key product categories within the organization. This role involves defining product strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and building innovative products that deliver strong customer satisfaction and business outcomes. The position requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in consumer technology, WealthTech, FinTech, or related consumer internet sectors, capable of leading products from inception to large-scale success.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for key categories, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
• Identify new opportunities based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
• Lead products through the 0→1 (initial development) and 1→100 (scaling) phases, ensuring sustainable growth.
• Collaborate closely with business, engineering, design, data, and other cross-functional teams to drive product execution.
• Define product metrics and leverage data and customer insights to inform decision-making.
• Enhance customer experience, engagement, retention, and overall product performance.
• Develop and implement scalable product processes to support organizational growth and expanding product portfolios.
• Mentor and develop product managers, fostering a strong product culture within the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in consumer technology, WealthTech, FinTech, or adjacent consumer internet businesses.
• Proven track record of taking products through 0→1 and 1→100 growth stages.
• Experience managing products/categories with significant scale and business impact.
• Strong understanding of consumer behavior, product-led growth, and customer journeys.
• Ability to balance strategy, execution, and business outcomes effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Educational background from strong/pedigree institutions preferred.
• Experience with building and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
• Stable career trajectory with meaningful tenures; candidates with frequent job changes (~every 2 years) may not be suitable.
