Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Manager (Amazon Channel) to lead growth initiatives on Amazon for our D2C sales. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Amazon Ads, inventory planning, business operations, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Amazon Advertising (30%)
- Plan, execute, and optimize ad campaigns to drive sales and profitable growth on Amazon India.
- Analyze campaign performance data to refine strategies and maximize ROI.
- Inventory Forecasting (20%)
- Forecast demand and collaborate with supply chain for optimal stock levels.
- Develop systems for real-time tracking and proactive replenishment.
- P&L Management (25%)
- Own the Amazon channel P&L; monitor sales, costs, margins, and key KPIs.
- Identify levers for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
- Brand Coordination (10%)
- Liaise with the Brand Team to ensure consistent messaging and content for Amazon.
- Provide feedback on creative and communication assets based on Amazon insights.
- Market Research: New Product Development (15%)
- Conduct market research for new product ideas and category trends.
- Support business cases for NPD launches based on Amazon analytics and consumer insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience
- Minimum 2 years of agency-side Amazon Ads experience (mandatory).
- Meta & Google Ads knowledge is a plus
- 1-2 years of broader e-commerce/business/brand management experience.
- Experience in the baby/kids category or with baby brands is a plus.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA/PG from a top institution preferred.
- Technical/Functional Skills
- Proven expertise with Amazon Ads and Seller Central.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management tools and P&L ownership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
