Job Summary

We are seeking a Design Engineer specializing in Piping and System Integration to join our team in Pune. The role involves designing and integrating piping systems within various projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and reliable piping solutions that support the organization’s operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping and system integration designs based on project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless integration of piping systems with other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct technical reviews and simulations to validate design integrity and performance.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Support procurement and construction teams during installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: BTech/BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, CAESAR II).
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
  • Experience with system integration and layout planning.
  • Knowledge of materials selection and stress analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and documentation.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 3D modeling and simulation tools.
• Knowledge of process engineering and fluid dynamics.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.
• Certification in piping design or related disciplines.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in piping design and system integration.
• Proven track record of working on engineering projects involving piping layouts and system interfacing.

Environment

• The role is based in Pune with a typical office setting.
• May involve site visits for project implementation and supervision.
• Standard office hours with potential for overtime during project deadlines.

Salary

• Estimated Range: ₹7,00,000 to ₹8,00,000 per annum.
