Role: Head of Sales Operations

Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Process and Product Compliance:

● Ensure rigorous compliance with sales processes and product standards.

● Co-own and execute strategies to ensure product compliance with industry regulations.

Market Share Ownership:

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-own and deliver market share targets.

● Monitor and analyze overall Week-over-Week (WoW) market share performance.

Wastage Optimization:

● Drive initiatives to achieve optimal wastage numbers in collaboration with relevant teams.

● Implement measures to minimize downstream wastage in operations.

Asset Sanctity:

● Oversee and ensure the sanctity of assets involved in sales operations.

● Implement and enforce protocols to safeguard company assets.

Process and Product Compliance Rates:

● Establish and monitor process compliance rates.

● Evaluate and enhance product compliance rates through continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational Excellence:

● Implement best practices for efficient and effective sales operations.

Qualifications:

● Experience: Proven background in process and business excellence, preferably from a consulting background.

● Total Experience of 10 to 15 years.

● Industry Exposure: Strong experience in operations-intensive industries such as Logistics, FoodTech, Ridesharing, or E-commerce.

● Knowledge: Working knowledge of Tamil is essential, given the focus on Tamil Nadu markets in the next 12 months.

● Execution Skills: Pure ops and execution-focused individuals with a track record of delivering results.
